One year has passed since my heart attack and I am still here and grateful to God to be here.

"Therefore
I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat or
what you shall drink, nor about your body, what you shall put on. Is not
life more than food, and the body more than clothing?"
(Matthew 6: 25-26)
Words so easy to read and so easy to recite, but words so very very true and yet so difficult to live.
"Therefore
do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for
itself. Let the day's own trouble be sufficient for the day."
(Matthew 6:34-35)
This
much I do know and can honestly state: during this past year a few days
came when I did not think that I would see a tomorrow. Anxiety from
that fear can be daunting.
"I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears." (Psalm 34:4)
The concept of a tomorrow is nothing more than an assumption we live with; tomorrow is a day we should hope for and ask God for.
Life is a precious gift from the God of Israel, and with gratitude I treasure each new day of life that is given to me.
